Park City started out as a mining town. This picturesque ore bin is on the Claim Jumper trail.
The porch outside the Snow Hut, the mid mountain lodge. We liked the Snow Hut so much we had lunch there every day.
The Snow Hut would have a nice view if the clouds would ever clear up. Notice that Mary has a new blue fleece.
The Claim Jumper trail also had great views. Anselmo kept his hat over his eyes so he didn't see them.
We saw this amazing circular cloud at the top of the Silver Lode chair lift.
Tuesday was our first beautiful day. This picture was taken at the top of Silver Lode lift. Notice that Mary has a new blue jacket.
This is a cozy corner of the Snow Hut.
Downstairs in the Snow Hut was a convenient place to put our outside clothes on after lunch. Mary fiddles endlessly with her boots.
After lunch on Wednesday it began to snow. This is outside the Snow Hut. The Silver Lode lift is in the background.
We went on "Prospector", a Black Diamond trail. We barely survived.
Mel's Alley was Mary's favorite trail. She renamed it Narnia after she saw the White Witch hiding in the forest.
This is a view of the town of Park City and the distant mountains.
This is the resort at the bottom of the mountain.
